In order to take a business, a project or a career to a breakthrough level or into a new arena, an in-depth assessment is needed, reviewing where things have been, where they are now, and where they are going. Then solutions can be devised.
Mike Williams Solutions begins by effectively assessing problems and opportunities, designing ways for business owners, non-profit leaders and other professionals, to tap into their unique skills, ideas and experience (their stuff), and succeed at the highest levels. MWS helps go-getters maximize their unique potential, whatever business, career, or cause they are pursuing. The usual goal: make more money, make more impact, or both.

Assessing the Need
Since 1981, Mike Williams Solutions has offered a broad base of experience. That experience has resulted in a unique and effective assessment process which is used to analyze problems and oportunities, recommend strategies and action, and ensure success. This process usually involves working one-on-one with the key individual in a company or organization. Or, it involves working directly with an independent professional.
Just as Consulting helps to set the direction and benchmarks to move ahead, Coaching, focusing on individual effectiveness, is utilized to assure that the Client’s effort is maximized in carrying out the program that is custom-designed for them.
Finding Solutions
Mike Williams Solutions uses Consulting and Coaching experience, along with insights from hundreds of interviews, training experiences and organizational reviews, to formulate a Master Strategy that is right for the client. This process gets things moving and keeps them on track. The Strategy draws upon the whole range of MWS insights, to allow clients to overcome obstacles and make the most of opportunities.
Through its work with a variety of key decision makers in their respective companies and organizations, as well as independent business owners and professionals, MWS has proven itself to be both versatile and adaptable. In order to establish and maintain high-level success, Mike Williams Solutions provides:
- An assessment of the vision, goals, needs, assets, history, and prospects,
- A review of the level of mastery in technical, informational, and/or professional issues,
- Recommendations to strengthen the base of support needed for the challenges ahead,
- A sound Strategy for establishing a clear and strong presence in the marketplace, and
- An action Plan for moving forward
The Strategy and action Plan, along with follow-up Consulting and Coaching, provide a vehicle for clients to make the most of the opportunities at hand, as well as those on the horizon.

Ensuring Success
To ensure that a Plan is effectively implemented, MWS offers an ongoing program of Consulting, Coaching and related services, depending upon the nature of the challenge or opportunity a project or venture faces. In some cases, MWS uses Training to reinforce Consulting and Coaching, and provide greater understanding within the organization.
Whether the need is for individual effectiveness, program design, organizational support, promotional services or a well-trained, collaborative team, Mike Williams Solutions is ready to help produce or expand success.
Costs and Logistics
The work at Mike Williams Solutions begins with the Assessment process, including completion of materials and an in-person, in-depth Interview, usually followed by completion of a Master Strategy. The Strategy would then become the model for future work by the client and Mike Williams Solutions. If the client chooses to have only the Assesment process, and NOT the Master Strategy, the Session concludes with an informal set of recomendations.
If the Master Strategy moves forward, it is completed within 30 days of the Interview, and is followed by a conference call to review the Strategy. Following a review of the Strategy, a decision regarding future MWS services is made. It is typically recommended that a minimum of four (4) in-person sessions be added, to ensure that the Strategy is in full effect and is working successfully. The Strategy, beginning with the in-depth Interview and Assessment process, is developed and provided at a cost of $3,500. Once adopted, the Master Strategy becomes the Master Plan.
The follow-up Coaching/Consulting sessions (approximately 3 hours each, in-person) are provided at a cost of $1,500 each. All sessions include an up-dated status reporting process, to track progress and update information on activities, obstacles, and outcomes related to the Strategy and Plan. They also include mutually agreed objectives to be completed within established time frames, and specific achievable results by the time of the next scheduled session.
Consulting via Mike Williams Solutions is provided on an ongoing or project-by-project basis. On-going consulting is provided on a flat monthly retainer, with a projected average of hours per month, over an extended period of time. Project consulting is provided on the basis of estimated hours, plus associated direct costs. Cancellation
In order to assure that the consulting relationship is mutually workable, both client and consultant have the right to terminate a consulting program. Mike Williams Solutions offers its best efforts to allow a consulting program to work, but allows for an easy exit, if either the client or the consultant find the relationship to be unworkable or problematic.
